Why do mosquitoes' bites itch? This is common question of many people. Some may know but others are not. Most experts consider that mosquitoes are same as syringes that fly. Mosquitoes have a large like needle as their nose and known to call by the experts as proboscis. They use this large needle like nose to bit blood and taking off to land fast on their victims and transfer to the next target. You may not be able to notice it that initially but after an hour or two you may now see the red bumps rising to your skins from mosquito bites and they will drive you crazy in scratching because of the itch feeling.

Why Do Mosquito Bites Itch

Mosquitoes leave their saliva when they bite, as matter of fact, the saliva that they left works very well and serve as anti-coagulant. Meaning mosquito can bite and can draw bloods as fast as they can without notice. Mosquitoes injected their saliva to our bodies that produces histamine as a response. We might not know that we have a slight allergy response that our skin gets itchy as soon as we bit my insects especially mosquitoes. The area of skin that surrounds that bit becomes annoyingly itchy and they can transfer a disease.

As study shown today, Americans all over the US have its risk for West Nile Virus that consider as their main concerns. However in the other countries malaria are their concerns from the mosquito bite and other somewhat nasty germs. On the other hand, we might not notice and realize that we already been bitten by mosquitoes because our bodies did not respond from any itch that mosquitoes bit. Although, having aware that we bitten will not save us or even prevent us from the spreading germs and diseases.

You may consult your doctor or physician once you develop or acquire any flu symptoms after a week later or even a few days. Alternatively, few people have a tolerance on bite from mosquitoes. They may be notice it at all but the skin will not swell up. This is kind of same as allergy shots. Little or small dosage and amount of saliva from mosquito over night or over time may cause of immunity to their saliva and adults is normally have less of response to mosquito bites rather than children.

The immunity of saliva may not take long and adult that has not bitten for a few years may become itchy after they bitten by new mosquitoes again. In the contrary, there are people has a strong reactions on mosquito bites. This is what they call anaphylactic shock response. This are like the reaction from a bees bite and the skin may have bruises, scabs or blisters. Children gets this reaction most of the time that looks like a chicken pox.

We have many ways on how to avoid the mosquito bites and get crazy on its itch. It will help you to wear protective clothes especially to your children because they are normally active almost anytime. You may also buy a cream to aid the itch and swell from any mosquito bites.
